発明の概要(英語) The purpose of this object is to provide a method of inhibiting the proliferation of cancer cells which comprises controlling the function of ZNF143; a cancer cell proliferation inhibitor which contains as the active ingredient a substance capable of inhibiting the function of ZNF143 such as a ZNF143-specific siRNA; a preventive and/or a remedy for cancer; a method of detecting cancer cells; a diagnostic for cancer; a vector and a transformed cell having the vector transferred thereinto; and a method of screening a substance which has an activity of inhibiting cancer cell proliferation with the use of the amount of ZNF143 protein-binding inhibition as a standard.
