発明の概要(英語) Disclosed is a process for producing a gel containing a nano-carbon material, for which a gelling medium to be used can be selected among from a wide variety of substances, and which is applicable to a nano-carbon material other than a carbon nano-tube and can achieve in an extremely simple manner. Specifically disclosed is a process for producing a gel containing a nano-carbon material, which is characterized by comprising mixing and agitating the nano-carbon material with a gelling medium (which is different from an ionic liquid) that meets the below-mentioned requirements while maintaining the gelling medium in a liquefied or molten state. (1) The gelling medium has a liquid form at ambient temperature or can be molten by heating. (2) The gelling medium contains, in the molecule, at least two monocyclic rings independently selected from an aromatic hydrocarbon monocyclic ring which may have a substituent and an aromatic heterocyclic monocyclic ring which may have a substituent.
