発明の概要(英語) The purposes of the present invention are to identify a gene involved in accumulation of cadmium in plants and to provide a method for using the gene. Specifically, a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide which comprises the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide which comprises an amino acid sequence produced by substituting, deleting and/or adding one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 and has an activity of changing the localization of the accumulation of cadmium, a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide which comprises the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2, or a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide which comprises an amino acid sequence produced by substituting, deleting and/or adding one or several amino acids in the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2 and has an activity of changing the localization of the accumulation of cadmium is introduced into a plant such that the polynucleotide is able to be expressed.
