Provided are plant resource phase-separating system conversion apparatus, conversion method, concentrated acid processing section and concentrated acid processing method capable of continuously producing lignin derivatives and hydrolyzed carbohydrates from plant resources with good efficiency. A concentrated acid processing section (3) has a reaction section (20) and a stirring and extracting section (25), which introduces a phenol-adsorbing raw material (16) which is obtained by defatting a raw material (15) derived from plant resources with a solvent (14) and making it absorb a phenol (13) for absorption, therein and delivers a mixing solution of a phenol solution containing lignophenol derivatives and a concentrated acid solution containing hydrolytes of cellulose.

The reaction section (20) stirs and mixes the phenol-adsorbing raw material (16) and a concentrated acid (21A), to make the celluloses to swell and to perform a conversion from lignin to lignophenol, and hydrolyzes one part of the celluloses. The stirring and extracting section (25) introduces the processed liquid delivered from the reaction section (20), therein and adds and stirs a phenol (33) for extraction, to make the lignophenol dispersed in the concentrated acid solution be dissolved and extracted into the phenol for extraction.
