発明の概要(英語) The sample scan speed of a Doppler OCT or the like is increased, and measurement of a blood flow speed and a blood flow rate can be quickly performed. A wide-band light beam from a light source (2) is converted into a linearly polarized light beam by means of a polarization control device (3). The linearly polarized light beam is split in a sample arm into a vertically polarized light beam and a horizontally polarized light beam by means of a Wollaston prism (14). The light beams are simultaneously applied to two locations of the sample different in scan direction by means of a galvanometer mirror (18), and the sample is scanned in the scan direction. The reference light beam from a reference arm (5) and the object light beam from the sample arm (6) are combined and interfered with each other. The interference signal light beam is dispersed by means of a diffraction grating (26), and the horizontal component and the vertical component are separated by means of a polarization beam splitter (28). The components are simultaneously measured by means of two polarization-sensitive light detectors (29, 30). Two tomograms in the same positions at different times are acquired by one mechanical scanning, and the variation of phase with time can be measured using the two tomograms.
