発明の概要(英語) Provided is a novel and non-natural sialic acid-containing sugar chain compound, which has a binding activity to a viral particle and remains stable even in the presence of sialidase, obtained by using a reaction with the use of a glycosyltransferase having high substrate specificity and high reaction selectivity. A compound having a sugar chain structure represented by general formula (1): Sia.alpha.2-3(Sia.alpha.2-6)Gal.beta.1-4(Fuc.alpha.1-3)GlcNAc (1), or a salt thereof.
