発明の概要(英語) A kit for adhering biological hard tissues which comprises a phosphorylated polysaccharide, a polyvalent metal salt other than a phosphate and a solvent. An adhesive composition for biological hard tissues, which is provided by the aforesaid kit for adhering biological hard tissues, is appropriately usable in medical materials such as a bone cement and a dental cement. Moreover, the aforesaid composition has excellent bioabsorbability and, therefore, is useful in the field of orthopedics as a fixing agent for an artificial joint, a fixing agent for vertebra fracture, a fixing agent for extremity bone fracture and a filling for bone tumor, in the field of dentistry as a filling for repairing a deficient site caused by dental caries, a connecting material for prosthetic appliances such as an inlay crown, a pulp-capping/lining material, an implant surface-treating material, a material for treating periodontal disease, a material for preventing hypersthesia and a pulp coating material, and as a base material for DDS, a tissue engineering material and a tissue adhesive.
