発明の概要(英語) Nanometre sized manganese dioxide having a ramsdellite crystal structure is obtained by means of wet multistage oxidation comprising: step one, wherein an alkaline reagent is added to a manganese compound aqueous solution containing bivalent manganese, causing manganese hydroxide to be precipitated; step two, wherein the water temperature of the aqueous solution containing the manganese hydroxide is maintained at room temperature, hydrogen peroxide solution is added, thus the converting the aqueous solution to manganese oxide; and step three, wherein with the manganese oxide in a state wherein water coexists, a dilute acid is added.
