発明の概要(英語) Provided is a solar cell achieving high energy-conversion efficiency by increasing the absorbance at the surface of the solar cell and reducing the reflectance. The disclosed solar cell is a pn-junction semiconductor solar cell that includes a surface having a porous structure, the pn-junction semiconductor solar cell being characterized in that: metal nanoparticles that exhibit surface plasmon absorption are carried in the pores of the porous structure; and the porous structure is either formed in a material having photoelectric effects in the pn-junction semiconductor solar cell or formed in a light transmissive layer provided on the surface of the pn-junction semiconductor solar cell.
