発明の概要(英語) [Problem] To objectively ascertain the relationship between differences in the hypoxia tolerance of flounder and genetic factors, and using this lineage of fish, to develop a DNA marker associated with the appearance source of the hypoxia tolerance by quantitative trait analysis (QTL method) of hypoxia tolerance, and develop a method for identifying hypoxia-tolerant flounder using this marker. [Solution] A method for identifying whether flounder is hypoxia-tolerant, the method comprising a step for amplifying a sequence that includes a microsatellite sequence that is the sequence of a microsatellite region, or a portion thereof, of the following a) or b) of DNA extracted from the flounder, the eggs thereof, or a processed product of the same. a) 809th through 1158th bases of base sequence No. 1 and b) 507th through 788th bases of base sequence No. 1.
