発明の概要(英語) The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an amino compound of an amino acid derivative, a peptide or the like, which is produced by derivatizing a glycated protein decomposition product derivative including a final glycation product and is useful for the diagnosis of impaired glucose tolerance; a mass spectrometry method which can quantify the amino compound rapidly and with high sensitivity and high accuracy; and a method for assaying for a biomarker employing the method. The present invention particularly provides a novel glycated protein decomposition product derivative which has been derivatized and is suitable for mass spectrometry. A high-sensitivity mass spectrometry method for an amino compound of an amino acid derivative, a peptide or the like according to the present invention comprises the steps of: reacting an N-terminal amino group in the amino acid derivative or the peptide with a trinitrophenylating agent or another derivatizing agent to derivatize the N-terminal amino group; and carrying out the mass spectrometry of the amino acid derivative or the peptide in which the N-terminal amino group has been derivatized. The present invention also provides a method for assaying for a biomarker, which comprises a step of quantifying the concentration of the biomarker in a biological sample using the mass spectral intensity data obtained by the aforementioned method.
