発明の概要(英語) A DNA can be easily and surely detected without using any marker such as a phosphor by bridging paired electrodes in a detection device by an extended DNA and then determining the properties of the DNA bridging the bump electrodes. For this purpose, provided is a method for detecting a DNA using a detection device equipped with at least a pair of electrodes, said method comprising: fixing primers to the electrodes; immersing the electrodes in a solution containing a circular template of a single-stranded DNA; annealing the circular template; and forming a single-stranded DNA product by the rolling circle amplification (RCA) method to thereby bridge the electrodes, to which a preset voltage is applied, by the extended DNA; and then determining the properties of the DNA bridging the electrodes and containing a plurality of single-stranded DNA molecules.
