発明の概要(英語) The problem of the present invention is to elucidate the inheritance pattern of Russell prairie gentian, including the genotype of the thus far unknown yellow flower, white flower, double flower, marginal variegation, and splashed pattern traits and further, to provide a method for creating a new Russell prairie gentian cultivar having diverse flower colors and/or flower forms. Provided is a method for creating a new Russell prairie gentian cultivar using a genotype corresponding to the flower color trait and/or flower form trait of Russell prairie gentian, where the genotype is Ans/ans·HxHx·Pg/pg·Cy/cy·Dp/dp consisting of: (a) genotype HxHx (where Hx is the dipole gene represented by HT, HF, HD, HZ, HO or HE) of the dipole gene that controls B ring hydroxylation of the pigment precursor of flavonoid biosynthesis and that participates in synthesis of the main anthocyanidin pigments of Russell prairie gentian, peralgonidin (Pgn), cyanidin (Cyn), or delphinidin (Dpn); (b) genotype Pg/pg·Cy/cy·Dp/dp of peralgonidin (Pgn), cyanidin (Cyn), or delphinidin (Dpn), which is the primary anthocyanidin pigment of Russell prairie gentian; and (c) genotype Ans/ans of colored flower/white flower, or a genotype that is a combination of Ans/ans·HxHx·Pg/pg·Cy/cy·Dp/dp with any one or more selected from genotype YxYx that determines the combination of yellow flowers and white flowers, genotype DxDx that determines the combination of 8-flower, 2-flower, and 1-flower clusters, genotype E/e of marginally variegated petals/solid-colored petals, and genotype B/b of solid-colored petals/splashed-pattern petals.
特許請求の範囲(英語) [claim1]
1. Flower color character of [torukogikiyou] and/or corresponds to star character uses the genotype which being new kind production method of [torukogikiyou] which, the said genotype,
(A) Hydroxide of B ring of the pigment precursor of flavonol biosynthesis is controlled, the pelargonidin which is the principal anthocyanidin pigment of [torukogikiyou] (Pgn), cyanidin (Cyn), or delphinidin (Dpn) genotype H of the multiple allele which participates in synthesis X H X (here, H X, H T, H F, H D, H Z, H O, or is displayed with H E the multiple allele which is shown.);
(B) The pelargonidin which is the principal anthocyanidin pigment of [torukogikiyou] (Pgn), cyanidin (Cyn), or delphinidin (Dpn) genotype Pg/pg Cy/cy Dp/dp;
And
(C) Genotype Ans/ans of colored flower/white flower;
Ans/ans H which consists of X H X Pg/pg Cy/cy Dp/dp, the above-mentioned method.

2. The aforementioned genotype, furthermore the below-mentioned genotype:
(D) The genotype Y which decides the combination of the yellow flower and the white flower X Y X (here, Y X Y C, Y S, Y W with being the multiple allele which is shown, Y C Y C homo- type of the yellow flower, Y C Y S (or Y S Y C) hetero type of the yellow flower, Y C Y W (or Y W Y C) hetero type of the yellow flower, Y W Y W the white flower homo-Type is shown.);
(E) The genotype D which decides the combination of eightfold type, double type, and single type X D X (here, D X D D, D S, D W with being the multiple allele which is shown, D D D D homo- type of the eightfold flower, D D D S (or D S D D) hetero type of the eightfold flower, D S D S homo- type of the single flower, D D D W (or D W D D)Hetero type of double flower, D W D S (or D S D W)Hetero type of the single flower, D W D W homo- type of the single flower (wild type) it shows.);
(F) Genotype E/e of marginal variegation flower/all the color flowers;
And
(G) Genotype B/b of all the color flowers/refuse [ri] flower;
Genotype of 1 where it is chosen from the group which consists of kinds is included at least, in claim 1 method of statement.

3. The aforementioned genotype is, B/b Ans/ans H X H X Pg/pg Cy/cy Dp/dp Y X Y X, in claim 2 method of statement.

4. The aforementioned genotype is, D X D X E/e B/b Ans/ans H X H X Pg/pg Cy/cy Dp/dp Y X Y X, in claim 2 method of statement.

5. It is something which the aforementioned genotype Ans/ans H X H (X participates in the reaction system where) Pg/pg Cy/cy Dp/dp is displayed with the below-mentioned route formula, is inherited, in either of the claim 1-4 method of statement.
(Here, H T, H F, H D, H Z, H O, H E shows the multiple allele type which controls the hydroxide of B ring of the pigment precursor of flavonol biosynthesis.
H T, H F, H D, H Z, H O, H E as for six multiple alleles, the respective flavonol 3' - hydroxylase and flavonol 3' and 5' 3' and 4' hydroxide of rank of the B ring by - hydroxylase, 4' hydroxide of rank, 3', 4' and 5' hydroxide of rank, 3', 4' and 5' hydroxide of rank, 3' and 4' rank and 3', 4' and 5' hydroxide of rank, and 3' and 4'5' hydroxide of rank is controlled.
Pg/pg, Cy/cy and Dp/dp [jihidorohurabonoruridakutaze] which participates in the biosynthesis of Pgn, Cyn and Dpn (DFR) show the fact that the heredity stroma which is opposed in revelation exists respectively.
Ans/ans the anthocyanidin synthetase which participates in the biosynthesis of Pgn, Cyn and Dpn (ANS) shows the fact that the heredity stroma which is opposed in revelation exists.)

6. F of [torukogikiyou] [1] kind or F [1], in either of the claim 1-5 in order to produce the seed parent system of [torukogikiyou] in order to produce the kind and the pollen parent system of [torukogikiyou] method of statement.

The gamete of the pollen parent is designated as line, combination of the multiple allele is decided of the below-mentioned table on the basis A which designates the gamete of the seed parent as the line or table B, [torukogikiyou] of the flower color which is made purpose is produced, in either of the claim 1-6 method of statement.
