発明の概要(英語) A joint (1) (fiber layers (1A, 1B)) is formed by wrapping resin-impregnated fiber sheets around the surface of a rod having non-adhesive properties with respect to the resin, curing the resin in this state and then pulling out the rod. Irregularities, which match a plurality of irregularities on the surface of the rod, are formed on an inner wall surface of the joint (1). The joint (1) is formed using a convenient method of wrapping fiber sheets around a rod, on the surface of which a plurality of irregularities are formed, and then curing the resin. Furthermore, since the joint (1) is formed of fiber sheets, the joint (1) is small and lightweight. In addition, the plurality of irregularities are formed on the inner surface of the joint (1) and therefore high joining strength can be obtained.
