発明の概要(英語) Provided are: a medical device which is less invasive to the body of a patient and can be joined to a bone strongly; a device structure for dental, head and neck surgical and orthopedic use; and a method for joining a medical device to a bone. The medical device is provided with: a hollow stem part which is to be inserted into the inside of a compact bone that constitutes a bone or, alternatively, is to penetrate through the compact bone and is to be inserted to a position that reaches a spongy bone located on the back side of the compact bone; and a bend part which is bent from one axis-direction end of the stem part toward the outer side in the radial direction of the stem part so as to be exposed at the surface of the compact bone, or an exposed part which has a part that extends from one axis-direction end of the stem part toward the outer side in the radial direction and which is exposed at the surface of the compact bone.
