発明の概要(英語) The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method with which spheroids of good quality can be produced in large quantities by a simple method. Another purpose of the present invention is to provide a method with which spheroids can be easily produced without using a growth factor or an adhesion factor, an intercellular matrix, or a special culture system. The present invention provides a method for producing spheroids, characterized in that cells are cultured using a glucose-containing culture medium in which the glucose substantially comprises l-glucose. Also provided is a method for producing spheroids in a culture medium free of a growth factor, an adhesion factor and an intercellular matrix, using a culture system that does not employ a three-dimensional support.

1. Being the glucose content nutrient medium, production method in the spheroid which features that it cultures the cell making use of the nutrient medium where glucose is formed substantially from [L]-gurukosu.

2. The ratio of [L]-gurukosu, in the claim 1 which is 90% or more of all glucose which consists of [D]-gurukosu and [L]-gurukosu method of statement.

(A) At the nutrient medium which contains [D]-gurukosu the process which cultures the cell,
(B) The process which replaces [D]-gurukosu in the nutrient medium to [L]-gurukosu,
(C) Being the glucose content nutrient medium, the process which cultures the cell making use of the nutrient medium where glucose is formed substantially from [L]-gurukosu,
It includes, production method in spheroid.

9. As the aforementioned process (b), reduces the [D]-gurukosu density in the nutrient medium gradually, increasing [L]-gurukosu density gradually, it is the process which cultures the cell, in claim 8 method of statement.
