発明の概要(英語) Provided is a novel copolymerized polymer which can sufficiently exhibit π-conjugacy of a condensed polycyclic aromatic skeleton thereof and has high solubility in solvents and excellent stability and durability. The polymer according to the present invention is a copolymer having a condensed polycyclic aromatic skeleton containing both a fluorene unit and a unit in which a hydrocarbon-type saturated ring-like structure is partially introduced into a part of the chemical structure of a phenanthrene ring or a phenanthroline ring and in which at least one hydrogen atom in the hydrocarbon-type saturated ring-like structure is substituted by a fluorine atom or a chlorine atom, e.g., a unit represented by formula (1). The polymer can be used as a light-emitting material for an organic light-emitting element and an electrode material for an electrochemical element. [In the formula, R11 to R42 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a bromine atom or a chlorine atom, wherein at least one of R11 to R42 represents a fluorine atom or a chlorine atom; a, b, c and d independently represent an integer of 0 or 1, wherein the sum total of a, b, c and d is an integer of 2 to 4; and R1 to R8 independently represent a substituent.]
