発明の概要(英語) Provided is a stress sensor for converting produced stress to wavelength changes of light, wherein the stress sensor is characterized by having a core in which a first pigment has been dispersed, and a cladding into which has been dispersed a second pigment which emits light at an excitation wavelength equal to the emission wavelength of the first pigment when excited by prescribed excitation light, and converting illuminating light that includes the prescribed excitation light entering from the entry end of the core to light of a wavelength dependent on produced stress, which is obtained at the exit end of the core.
