発明の概要(英語) Provided is a heartbeat signal detecting device capable of easily detecting heartbeat signals which indicate the output of the heart of a living body without attaching an ECG electrode to a living body. A waveform analysis control unit 72 extracts, from a respiration signal SR output from a flow rate calculation control unit 70, a frequency component that synchronizes with the pulsation of a heart 26 of a living body 10 and is superimposed on the respiration signal SR, and a heartbeat signal SH indicating the pulsation is output. By using the heartbeat signal SH, the heartbeat signal SH indicating the output of the heart 26 of the living body 10 can be easily detected. In addition, the heartbeat signal SH reflecting the actual cardiac output of the heart 26 is obtained, and thus, compared with a conventional device that uses an electrocardiographic induction waveform, the presence/absence of the pulsation of the heart 26 can be determined with higher reliability, quick medical treatment can be performed at a site of emergency lifesaving, and further, a circulatory system drug that changes not only a heart rate HR but also a cardiac output can be clinically evaluated.
