発明の概要(英語) The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a platinum core-shell catalyst that uses palladium (Pd) as a core metal, or a platinum catalyst containing platinum and a metal besides platinum, wherein the platinum catalyst is supported on carbon and has excellent oxygen reduction activity; and a manufacturing method by which it is possible to manufacture the catalyst industrially on a mass scale. This method for manufacturing a platinum catalyst for a fuel cell containing platinum and a metal besides platinum includes (I) a step for bringing about the presence of a chemical species imparting higher potential than the initial oxide formation potential of the platinum of the platinum catalyst, and (II) a step for bringing about the presence of a chemical species imparting lower potential than the initial oxide formation potential of the platinum of the platinum catalyst, the steps being carried out in a dispersion solution of the platinum catalyst dispersed in an acidic solution containing protons.

1. Being production method of the platinum catalyst for the fuel cell which includes with the metal other than the platinum and the platinum, in the dispersed solution which disperses the platinum catalyst to the acidic solution which includes the proton,
(i) The process which exists the chemical kind which gives the electric potential which is higher than oxide formation start electric potential of the platinum of the aforementioned platinum catalyst and,
(ii) The process which exists the chemical kind which gives the electric potential which is lower than oxide restoration start electric potential of the platinum of the aforementioned platinum catalyst and, it includes, production method.

11. The acidic solution which includes the aforementioned proton is the sulfuric acid solution, either of the claim 1-10 in 1 sections production method of the platinum catalyst of statement.

16. Either of the claim 1-14 in 1 sections the fuel cell which utilizes the platinum catalyst which is produced by the method of statement as the catalyst of the oxygen restoration reaction.

17. Being the method of improving the activity of the platinum catalyst for the fuel cell, making the platinum catalyst disperse in the acidic solution,
(1) in the platinum catalyst dispersed solution, the process which the inert gas sending entrance is done and,
(2) in the platinum catalyst dispersed solution, the process which hydrogen sending entrance is done and,
(3) in the platinum catalyst dispersed solution, the process which the inert gas sending entrance is done and,
(4) in the platinum catalyst dispersed solution, the process which oxygen sending entrance is done and, the method the plural times of doing over again in order.

18. Being the method of improving the activity of the platinum catalyst for the fuel cell, making the platinum catalyst disperse in the acidic solution,
(101) In the platinum catalyst dispersed solution, the process which the inert gas sending entrance is done and,
(102) While in the platinum catalyst dispersed solution, sending entrance to do the inert gas, the process which exists the solid copper and,
(103) The aforementioned process (102) the process which removes the solid copper from in the platinum catalyst dispersed solution and,
(104) In the platinum catalyst dispersed solution, the process which oxygen sending entrance is done and, the method the plural times of doing over again in order.
