The radio device (10) transmits a radio signal to the outside of the living body (LB) at a frequency that is higher than a maximum value frequency at which a loss coefficient, which is a ratio between an imaginary part of a dielectric constant of water and a real part of said dielectric constant, has a maximum value due to dipole polarization, said frequency being a frequency from among frequencies included in a frequency band comprising Ultra High Frequency (UHF), Super High Frequency (SHF), Extremely High Frequency (EHF) and Tremendously High Frequency (THF).
