発明の概要(英語) Provided is a method for estimating fatty acid species in a living organism. The method for fatty acid species estimation according to one aspect of the present invention is characterized in that fatty acid(s) in a living organism are estimated on the basis of acoustic impedance data. In this aspect, the fatty acid(s) preferably include at least one of palmitic acid, oleic acid, palmitoleic acid, linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid. The program for fatty acid species estimation according to another aspect of the present invention is used for making a computer execute a procedure for estimating fatty acid(s) in a living organism on the basis of acoustic impedance data. In this aspect, the fatty acid(s) preferably include at least one of palmitic acid, oleic acid, palmitoleic acid, linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid.
