PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove image components other than a focal plane superimposed on the focal plane image.
SOLUTION: A processing part inputs an NMR signal or the like imaged by superimposing information of respective cross sections of a subject by a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging method, from a storage part or the like (S100). The processing part finds a first focusing image using a desired depth coordinate as a focal plane and its absolute value amplitude image based on the NMR signal (S301 and 102). The processing part finds a point image distribution function indicating an effect which the image components other than the focal plane superimposes on the focusing image and its absolute value image (S302). The processing part executes reverse filtering based on the absolute value image of the point image distribution function and the absolute value amplitude image of the focusing image to find an incoherent image formation approximate image (hereinafter referred to as approximate image) with improved image quality (S303). The processing part finds a modified function based on a ratio of the second focusing image to the first focusing image which are obtained based on the approximate image and the point image distribution function, and corrects the approximate image according to the modified function to find a reconstruction image removed with the images other than the focal plane (S305).
