PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear vibrating actuator capable of being manufactured at low cost and attaining size reduction, while maintaining high reliability.
SOLUTION: A stator 8 is formed out of a magnetic substance yoke 1 and an excitation coil 2 wound around the magnetic substance yoke 1. A mover 9 is disposed so as to face the stator 8. The mover 9 consists of two permanent magnets 4, 6 disposed so as to face the same pole each other and inductors 3, 5, 7 for retaining the permanent magnets 4, 6. The direction of magnetic force generated at the yoke 1 is switched according to the direction of current passing through the excitation coil 2, and it exerts an influence on magnetic force existing at the mover 9 each other, so that one of attracting force and repulsion generated between the stator 8 and the mover 9 is amplified and the other is reduced.
