PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move an electric traction inspection device stably, avoiding obstacles on a track.
SOLUTION: An electric traction inspection device 1 comprises a traveler 2 which self-drives on a hang line M by a motor 8 and a controller 3 which moves on a lower part of a trolley line, hung by the traveler 2 with a plurality of supporting arms 4. A hook 7 is set at the traveler 2 which involves with a joint 4a of the supporting arms 4 by a hook driving motor and breaks them away. The supporting arms 4 are set in plurality with a same interval each other to a forward direction, elected by an arm driving motor 10 at the controller 3 and connected so as to be able to invert. The joint 4a involves with the hook 7 on the traveler 2 at the election position and the supporting arms 4 avoid obstacles on the track at the inverse position. An optical inspection device 13 is set respectively at the traveler 2 and the controller 3 and when it detects obstacles on the forward direction of each supporting arm, the controller 3 will control a driving motor 9, 10 so as to invert and elect the hook 7 and the supporting arms 4.
