PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonized product molding which has excellent absorbing performance of hazardous gas, malodor, moisture, electromagnetic wave, or the like, and further has sufficient strength as a building material, or the like.
SOLUTION: Cellulose fiber 4 obtained by unraveling waste paper, or the like, carboxymethyl cellulose and water are added to granular plant carbonized product 3 which is a main component and is obtained by carbonization treatment of a plant raw material such as a timber chip. After agitating and blending, an obtained mixture is poured into a prescribed molding die and is press-molded. Then, a molding is dried to obtain the carbonized product molding of a plate- shape, or the like. The carbonized product molding has excellent adsorptivity of the hazardous gas and the malodor, has high humidity conditioning property and high electromagnetic wave shielding property and has sufficient strength as a building material.
