PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an inclined veneer laminated material with a high strength and being mass-producible.
SOLUTION: A veneer 1 which is formed by cutting into a sheet-like shape by a rotary race and in which the fiber direction (a) approximately intersects at right angles to the side end d in the longitudinal direction, is cut and divided into approximately a square or a rectangle along the fiber direction (a) to form primary veneer small pieces 1a. Side ends b on uncut sides crossing the cut lines c of the veneer small pieces 1a are sequentially connected and bonded together to form a bonded veneer 1'. The bonded veneer 1' is again cut and divided on the cutting line c' inclined in the oblique direction to the side end to form divided small pieces 1'a. The cutting lines c re-formed as the side ends on the uncut sides of the divided small pieces 1'a are sequentially connected together to form a belt-like or a strip paper-like veneer layer 2'a. The fiber directions of up and down adjoining veneer layers 2'a in a lamination cross-section are inclined in the oblique direction with an angle of inclination of 30-60° in mutually reverse direction and are intersected mutually, and a plurality of sheets of the veneer layers 2'a are piled up and laminated and stuck together.
