PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion conductive sulfide glass that does not require crushing or molding after the composition of the glass.
SOLUTION: When an ion conductive sulfide glass is manufactured, a raw material of this ion conductive sulfide glass is vitrified by mechanical milling. For this raw material of the ion conductive sulfide glass, a sulfide crystal made from a positive element more positive than sulfur and the sulfur element, or a mixture of unitary bodies of a positive element more positive than sulfur and unitary bodies of the sulfur element can be used. Fine powder 1 of the ion conductive sulfide glass that is equal in composition and uniform in grain diameter and the like can directly be obtained by this method. The fine powder 1 can be used as an excellent electrolytic material, increases the contact interface between a positive electrode 2 and a negative electrode 3, and can be used as a high performance solid electrolyte for various products such as a totally solid-type lithium secondary battery and the like.
