報告名称 核内因子による遺伝情報発現制御機構の解明
報告概要 遺伝子発現の中でも転写は遺伝子発現の基本であり,その制御機構の解明は生命活動の本質を理解する上で必須である。細胞内で起こる膨大な数の遺伝子の転写は,統合と多様性という両極の現象を保ちながら進められているが,その詳しい分子機構は不明である。基本転写因子TBPを元に転写制御に関わる新たな因子を見出し,それら因子の解析,及び相互作用する因子を同定することにより,転写制御の統合や特異的転写制御のメカニズムを明らかにする。また,見出した新しい転写制御因子を元に包括的核ダイナミズムの協調という新しい問題を提起し,それらの検証を行なう。これまでの研究でTBPに結合する因子として複数のTIPを発見し,TIPが複合体を形成すること,複合体の中には転写以外に関与する因子も含まれていることを明らかにした。また本研究の過程でTBP類似因子(TLP)の存在を見い出し,その性質を明らかにした。
