Abstract This disclosure pertains to a nervous system cell population, a nervous system cell-containing preparation, and a method for producing said population and preparation. In more detail, this invention pertains to a nervous system cell population derived from intraoral mesenchymal tissue cells having at least 80% of normal diploid cells, a preparation containing the same, and a method for producing said population and preparation.
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
Central nervous system injuries, especially spinal cord injuries, require nervous system cells to be transplanted within two weeks of the injury (NpL 1). On the other hand, although there are many reports of inducing differentiation from mesenchymal stem cells into neural cells, NpL 2 ~ 4) (, there is no report that cells that have been induced to differentiate into nerves have been isolated from ectodermal mesenchymal tissue in several days.
Furthermore, in order to obtain neural stem cells from tissues harvested from the patient itself, NpL 5 and NpL 1) must be separated using methods such as corona cloning or cell sorter. However, colognal cloning takes time, and a cell sorter requires expensive equipment and antibodies. furthermore, complicated operations such as antibody washing have been unavoidable. In addition, there has been a problem in that damage to neural stem cells is large during the separation process. In particular, in the case of autotransplantation in which the cell-containing preparation or regenerative medical material obtained by processing and manufacturing the cells harvested from the patient itself is transplanted into the same patient, if it takes time to induce differentiation from the cells harvested from the patient into neurons, there is a problem in that autotransplantation cannot respond to treatment in acute and sub-acute phases.
