Abstract The prediction system according to an embodiment generates a machine learning model for predicting a state of an object by: acquiring a plurality of input vectors indicating a combination of an object feature and an environment feature, the object feature being represented by one or more feature amounts related to the state of an object that are calculated on the basis of observation, and the environment feature being represented by one or more feature amounts related to the surrounding environment of the object; dividing, through clustering, a set of environment features into a plurality of clusters; and executing machine learning with respect to each of the plurality of input vectors. The machine learning includes a step for executing a process based on the cluster to which the environment feature of an input vector belongs, and a step for outputting a predicted value of the state of the object by inputting the input vector into the machine learning model for which the process has been executed.

Computer systems are known to predict the state of an object using machine learning. For example, Japanese Patent Document 1 describes a plant disease diagnosis system. The system includes a deep learning unit that captures a plurality of images of plant diseases and corresponding diagnosis results as learning data, creates and holds image feature data related to plant diseases, an input unit that inputs an image to be diagnosed, An analysis part for identifying which diagnostic result the input image is classified by using the deep learning device, and a display part for displaying the diagnostic result output by the analysis part.
