Title PRECISION FORGING METHOD, PRECISION FORGING DEVICE, AND PRECISION FORGING PRODUCT
Abstract This precision forging method includes disposing a metal material (10) in a die hole 22 so that the tip surface of a peripheral wall (14) of the metal material (10) faces a stopper (24) and a bottom section (12) of the metal material (10) faces a punch (30). In addition, this precision forging method includes moving the punch 30 having a cutting edge (32) on an edge section of a processing end surface (31) inside the die hole (22), thereby cuts a portion of a wall part (14) in a thickness direction by the cutting edge (32), and generates shear deformation in the cut portion.

Reference) to (Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, which are widely used for manufacturing small precision parts used in automobiles, electric and electronic devices, because precision forging, which is cold forging, can manufacture high precision parts at low cost. Precision forging is carried out by a combination of upsetting and extrusion which are basic methods, and in the final stage of the forming process, a large tool pressure is required to push a workpiece into an unfilled part of a die.
