Abstract

Provided are: a microbial power generation device that can suppress power generation cost and increase power production capacity

an electrode for the microbial power generation device and a method for producing same

and a method for power production using microbes and a method for selectively culturing microbes used in the method for power production. In the microbial power generation device (1), microbes (reducing microbes (3)) that reduce graphene oxide are concentrated among microbes that inhabit, for example, wastewater, slurries, activated sludge, or the like. Thus, graphene oxide is reduced by the reducing microbes (3), forming graphene. It is possible to transmit electrons produced by the microbes by means of the formed graphene to a negative electrode (14), and so it is possible to generate power at a low cost and to increase power production capacity.
