Abstract Provided are: a polymer gel for a medium, in which the hardness of the polymer gel can be easily and reversibly changed, and the shape of cells can be controlled according to said hardness; a medium; and a method for culturing cells using the medium. The polymer gel for a medium contains a solvent and a crosslinked structure crosslinked by a reversible bond. The hardness of the polymer gel for a medium can easily and reversibly changed. Thus, by using the polymer gel for a medium according to the present invention, the shape and function of cells can be reversibly controlled according to said hardness.
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
In recent years, studies in the field of regenerative medicine or the like due to development in the application thereof, to simplify the desired tissue, and, the creation of the culture at a low cost technology is urgently needed. Therefore, from different perspectives, cell culture, cell differentiation control is carried out research and development.
In the field of regenerative medicine, the type of medium for culturing stem cells is, differentiation of pluripotent cells to be greatly influences are known.
