Abstract A fuel injection device (1) of an embodiment of the present invention injects fuel into a combustion chamber (CC) of an internal combustion engine (EG). The fuel injection device (1) is provided with: a pressure accumulating unit (122) to which fuel is supplied from a high pressure source (4) that supplies fuel at a prescribed pressure; a first valve (21) that causes the fuel supplied from the high pressure source (4) to be supplied to the inside of the pressure accumulating unit (122); and a second valve (22) that causes the fuel supplied to the pressure accumulating unit (122) to be injected to the inside of the combustion chamber (CC) from the pressure accumulating unit (122).
