発明の概要(英語) [Problem] To provide a method for producing a graft polymer, in which living radical polymerization can stably progress by using a monomer structural unit containing an iodine initiation group as an initiator.
[Solution] This production method is characterized by producing a graft polymer by subjecting a compound having a repeating unit represented by formula (1) in the main chain thereof to living radical polymerization with a vinyl monomer using an organic catalyst. [Chemical Formula 14] Here, R1 is a linking group (a straight chain, branched chain or cyclic alkylene group or aromatic group which has 1-30 carbon atoms and which may include an ether bond, an amide bond or an ester bond), R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 each denote a hydrogen atom, an aromatic group or an aliphatic group, and n=1 to 5.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
In recent years based on the precise control of the polymer structure from the various high-functional material has been developed. Among the high reactivity of the radical polymerization can be utilized in a wide variety of vinyl polymerization of the monomers and can be used, such as the development of innovative than can be realized so that functional material is.
In particular in the living radical polymerization is a radical polymerization, reversible covalent stable radical species from the species generated in the polymerization reaction.
