発明の概要(英語) Provided are a pulse-wave signal analysis device and a pulse-wave signal analysis method that allow atrial fibrillation status to be determined accurately through a simple method. This pulse-wave analysis device comprises: a pulse-wave detection unit (104) that detects a pulse-wave signal from the heart-beat of an organism; a spectrum generation unit (108) that performs a Fourier-transform on the pulse-wave signal detected by the pulse-wave detection unit (104) to generate a frequency spectrum; and an atrial fibrillation detection unit (113) that detects the atrial fibrillation status on the basis of the frequency spectrum generated by the spectrum generation unit (108). The spectrum generation unit (108) iteratively calculates the Fourier-transform of the pulse-wave signal in a predetermined frame of time by performing a shift in a 0.005 second to 0.02 second range. In addition, the device further comprises a filter (105) for filtering the pulse-wave signal detected by the pulse-wave detection unit (104), and the spectrum generation unit (108) performs a Fourier-transform on the pulse-wave signal output from the filter (105).
