発明の概要(英語) Provided are: a screening method for an anti-obesity substance, the method including selecting a substance capable of increasing the expression of the Pgc-1α gene and the Mipep gene; and a kit for screening that is used in this screening method. During screening, the level of Pgc-1α gene and Mipep gene expression may be determined, and the level of reporter gene expression may be determined by reporter assay.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Obesity, and excess body fat accumulated in the defined state.
