Abstract To introduce a halogen into a material such as a protein without using an oxidizing agent, provided is a method for producing a halide, said method being characterized by comprising a step for applying a voltage to a solution that contains a material to be halogenated and a halogen, or a step for applying a voltage to a solution that contains a halogen and then adding a material to be halogenated to the solution, wherein the material to be halogenated is a protein, a peptide, a boron cluster or a low-molecular compound containing an aromatic ring.
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
Compounds containing radioactive halogen have been used for positron tomography (PET) and single-photon emission tomography (SPECT), and have been used for diagnosis of various diseases. In recent years, techniques have been proposed for killing cancer cells by irradiating cancer cells with radiation using antibodies into which radioactive halogen has been introduced. As a result, importance of introducing halogens into various substances, particularly proteins such as antibodies, has been increasing.
The introduction of halogen into the protein is generally performed using an oxidizing agent, and chloramine T is usually used as the oxidizing agent. However, chloramine T has a strong oxidizing power, which may denature the protein. Although there is also known a method of using an oxidizing agent (weaker than chloramine T, for example, lactoperoxidase or iodogen), such a method has a lower halogen introduction rate than a method of using chloramine T, and the problem of protein denaturation cannot be completely avoided.
Scope of claims (In Japanese)[請求項1]
 ハロゲン化される物質とハロゲンを含む溶液に電圧を印加する工程、又はハロゲンを含む溶液に電圧を印加した後、その溶液にハロゲン化される物質を添加する工程を含むことを特徴とするハロゲン化物の製造方法であって、ハロゲン化される物質が、タンパク質、ペプチド、ホウ素クラスター、又は芳香族環を含む低分子化合物であるハロゲン化物の製造方法。

[請求項2]
 ハロゲン化される物質が、タンパク質であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハロゲン化物の製造方法。

[請求項3]
 タンパク質が、抗体又は抗体の断片であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のハロゲン化物の製造方法。

[請求項4]
 ハロゲンが、放射性ハロゲンであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のハロゲン化物の製造方法。

[請求項5]
 放射性ハロゲンが、 123I、 125I、 131I、 76Br、 18F、又は 211Atであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のハロゲン化物の製造方法。
