Abstract [Problem] The present invention aims to provide a molding system and production method for a composite molded body having excellent adhesion to carbon fibers and thermoplastic resin and having high molding freedom.
[Solution] The present invention is characterized by comprising: a means for braid molding a cylindrical material comprising a composite material of carbon fiber and thermoplastic resin; and a means for warm pressure molding the braid-molded cylindrical material, from the inside.
Outline of related art and contending technology BACKGROUND ART
Compounding of carbon fibers with resins has been studied due to their excellent specific strength. For example, Non-Patent Document 1 discloses a technique of braiding a carbon fiber impregnated with an epoxy resin and thermally cured. The reason why the thermosetting resin is impregnated into the carbon fibers in the present technology is to facilitate impregnation into the carbon fibers because the raw material prior to being heat-cured has low viscosity and is easy to form a liquid form.
However, not only does combining with thermosetting resins take time to cure, but also subsequent molding is difficult. In contrast, thermoplastic resins can be melted by heating to a predetermined temperature, but there is a technical problem in that the viscosity thereof is high, it is difficult to sufficiently impregnate carbon fibers, and the adhesion thereof is poor. In addition, it is also conceivable to impregnate the carbon fiber with a thermoplastic resin during braid molding and then perform drawing processing, but it is difficult to apply sufficient pressure in drawing processing, and the adhesion between the carbon fiber and the resin material becomes a problem.
Patent Document 1 discloses a fiber-reinforced resin tubular body, but the tubular body disclosed in this publication is formed by spirally winding a tape obtained by commingling continuous carbon fibers and thermoplastic resin fibers such that the tape partially overlaps the tape. However, there is a high risk of insufficient adhesion between the overlapped portions of the tapes, and there is a limitation on the shape that can be formed by a method in which the tapes are spirally wound.
Scope of claims (In Japanese)[請求項1]
 炭素繊維と熱可塑性樹脂との複合材からなる筒状素材を組紐成形する手段と、
前記組紐成形された筒状素材を内側から温間加圧成型する手段とを備えることを特徴とする複合成形体の成形システム。

[請求項2]
 前記筒状素材を内側から加圧成型する手段は、外形成型用金型と、筒状素材の内側に挿入し、内圧を付加するための弾性挿入部材とからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の複合成形体の成形システム。

[請求項3]
 前記弾性挿入部材は、複数の弾性子に分割されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の複合成形体の成形システム。

[請求項4]
 前記炭素繊維と熱可塑性樹脂との複合材は、一方向炭素繊維と熱可塑性樹脂との複合化テープ材であることを特徴とする請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の複合成形体の成形システム。

[請求項5]
 一方向炭素繊維に熱可塑性樹脂を含浸させた複合化テープ材を用いて組紐成形機により筒状素材を製造する工程と、
前記筒状素材を金型内に投入し、当該筒状素材の内側に内圧を付加することで、温間で金型成型する工程とを有することを特徴とする複合成形体の製造方法。

[請求項6]
 前記組紐成形機にて筒状素材を成形する際に用いる心棒の表面に耐熱性チューブを被覆してあることを特徴とする請求項5記載の複合成形体の製造方法。

[請求項7]
 前記耐熱性チューブの内側に弾性挿入部材を挿入し、内圧を付加することを特徴とする請求項6記載の複合成形体の製造方法。
