発明の概要(英語) A field magnet holder provided in a field portion of an electric motor is formed from a non-magnetic material, and a plurality of spacers are arranged with a prescribed spacing in the circumferential direction between an inner wall and an outer wall each formed with a cylindrical shape. Sockets into which permanent magnets are inserted are formed between the spacers in the field magnet holder, and a plurality of said sockets are formed in the circumferential direction. As a result, the permanent magnets can be easily assembled by inserting the permanent magnets into each socket, improving the ease of assembly of a plurality of permanent magnets that are arranged in such a way that the magnetization directions thereof change sequentially at each angle obtained by dividing one electrical angle cycle by a number n of divisions, where the number n of divisions is any integer equal to or greater than 3.
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
In electric motors, generators, and the like, N field in which N pole and S pole of N permanent magnet are alternately arranged (N-S arranged field) is used. In the field, a magnetic field on one side (inner side or outer side in the radial direction) of the arranged permanent magnets is used, but in the N-S arranged field, magnetic fields are generated on both sides of the arranged permanent magnets, and the magnetic fields (magnetic energy from the permanent magnets) are not effectively utilized.
On the other hand, examples of the field of the permanent magnet arrangement include Halbach arrangement field in which a plurality of permanent magnets are arranged in that order by rotating the direction of the magnetic poles (magnetization directions) by 90 °. In this Halbach array field, a stronger magnetic field can be generated on one side of the arranged permanent magnets than on the other side, and the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets can be effectively used.
JP-A-2009-201343, JP-A-2010-154688, and the like disclose a field magnetic field (dual Halbach array field magnetic field) capable of more effectively utilizing a magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet by disposing two sets of Halbach magnet arrays facing each other such that the magnetic fields of the two sets of Halbach magnets strengthen each other.
