発明の概要(英語) In this arrayed biosensor (100A), a semiconductor switch element (231jk) is positioned in the vicinity of each intersection point between rows of first wiring (210j) and columns of second wiring (220k). A control terminal to which there is inputted a conduction control signal for controlling the conduction state between a first terminal and a second terminal of the semiconductor switch element (231jk) is connected to the first wiring (210j) in the vicinity thereof, and the 111th terminal is connected to the second wiring (220k) in the vicinity thereof. The second terminal is connected to a measurement electrode (232jk) in which a marker-catalyst-containing complex can be secured to a surface, at least a portion of the surface being exposed to the outside. Due to a chemical reaction between the marker catalyst in the complex secured to the measurement electrode (232jk) and either a reducing agent or an oxidizing agent, the open-circuit potential of the measurement electrode (232jk) varies in accordance with the quantity of the complex that is secured to the measurement electrode (232jk).
従来技術、競合技術の概要(英語) BACKGROUND ART
Currently, digital ELISA (Digital Enzyme-Linked Immuno Sorbent Assay) technology has developed in the field of biometrics to directly count the number of biomolecules in solution (see NpL 1, for example). In such a digital ELISA, fine, highly sensitive antigen-antibody reaction detectors are arranged in parallel in a number sufficiently greater than the required number of molecules to be measured (typically approximately 100 ~ 10 million molecules). Each of the arranged antigen-antibody reaction detectors detects the presence or absence of one molecule, and reads out the detection results at high speed. By counting the number of measurement points at which molecules are detected on the basis of the detection results read in this way, it is possible to achieve absolute quantification of measurements at very low concentrations up to one molecular level without using a calibration curve.
Furthermore, small devices capable of detecting a highly sensitive antigen-antibody reaction include amperometric or voltammetric electrochemical sensors (for example, see Patent Document 1).
An example of a measurement method for arranging a plurality of potentiometry type sensors is a measurement method using a reading unit of a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) type or CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor) type image sensor (see Patent Document 2, for example). In this measurement method, potentials of a plurality of measurement electrodes are sequentially read out.
As a method for detecting an antigen-antibody reaction at a potential, a primary antibody immobilized on a carbon printed electrode and a secondary antibody labeled with platinum nanoparticles are used as in Non-Patent Document 2. A phenomenon in which the potential of the carbon printed electrode and the open circuit potential (OCP: Open Circuit Potential) shift when hydrazine is added has been reported.
