発明の概要(英語) A quantum gate device 10 is provided with: a first superconducting circuit 11 which includes at least one Josephson element 111, 1121, 1122 in an annular circuit comprising a superconducting wire 115 and resonates at a first resonance frequency; a second superconducting circuit 12 which includes at least one Josephson element 121 in an annular circuit comprising a superconducting wire 125 and resonates at a second resonance frequency different from the first resonance frequency; a connecting portion 13 which comprises a capacitor 134 and superconducting wires 135 provided at both poles of the capacitor 134 and connects the first superconducting circuit 11 and the second superconducting circuit 12; a magnetic field applying means 14 for applying a magnetic field to one or both of the first superconducting circuit 11 and the second superconducting circuit 12; a quantum gate-controlling electromagnetic wave-irradiating unit 15 for irradiating one of the first superconducting circuit 11 and the second superconducting circuit 12 with a control electromagnetic wave having a control frequency corresponding to an energy difference between two energy states which, among a plurality of quantized energy states formed by the first superconducting circuit 11 and the second superconducting circuit 12, contribute to the operation of a quantum gate; and an unwanted transition-suppressing electromagnetic wave-irradiating unit 16 which irradiates one of the first superconducting circuit 11 and the second superconducting circuit 12 with an unwanted interaction-suppressing electromagnetic wave. The unwanted interaction-suppressing electromagnetic wave has an unwanted interaction-suppressing frequency which is a frequency between a first frequency and a second frequency, the first frequency corresponding to an original energy difference between, among three of the plurality of energy states, a highest first energy state and a second energy state having a second-highest energy, and the second frequency corresponding to an original energy difference between the second energy state and a third energy state having a lowest energy, the unwanted interaction-suppressing frequency differing by not less than 10MHz from a frequency corresponding to an original energy difference between any two of the plurality of energy states.
