Title SILANE COUPLING AGENTS WITH HEAT RESISTANCE, DURABILITY, RELEASABILITY, AND ANTIFOULING PROPERTY AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THESE COMPOUNDS
Abstract Silane coupling agents which are so high in heat resistance, durability, releasability, and antifouling properties that no decrease in contact angle is observed even after exposure to an atmosphere having a temperature of 350 deg.C or higher for 4 hours or longer. The silane coupling agents have a biphenylalkyl group and are represented by the following general formula (1). The silane coupling agents are so high in heat resistance, durability, releasability, and antifouling properties that surfaces modified with these compounds show no decrease in contact angle when exposed to an atmosphere having a temperature of 350 deg.C or higher for 4 hours or longer. The coupling agents have an extraordinary effect and usefulness. (1) [In the formula (1), Rf represents perfluoroalkyl of F(CF2)n, wherein n is an integer of 1-14, desirably 1-12, preferably 4-12, more desirably 4-10.]
Scope of claims (In Japanese)
【請求項1】下記一般式(1)で表されるビフェニルアルキル基を有する耐熱性、耐久性、離型性、及び防汚性シランカップリング剤。【化1】[式(1)中、RfはF(CF2nのペルフルオロアルキル基を示し、nは1~14の整数、好ましくは1~12の整数、より好ましくは4~12の整数、さらに好ましくは4~10の整数を示す。]

【請求項2】下記一般式(2)【化2】で表される4,4’-ジブロモビフェニルを、下記式(3)【化3】[式(3)中、nは1~14の整数、好ましくは1~12の整数、より好ましくは4~12の整数、さらに好ましくは4~10の整数を示す。]で表されるペルフルオロアルキルヨージドと極性溶媒中で、銅ブロンズ粉触媒を用いて反応させて得られる、下記一般式(4)【化4】で表される4-ペルフルオロアルキル-4’-ブロモビフェニルを合成する第1の工程、次いで、下記式(5)【化5】で表されるアリルブロミドと極性溶媒中で、CuI2触媒を用いて反応させて得られる、下記一般式(6)【化6】で表される4-ペルフルオロアルキル-4’-アリルビフェニルを合成する第2の工程、次いで、下記式(7)【化7】で表されるトリメトキシシランと有機溶媒中で、塩化白金酸触媒を用いて反応させて得られる、下記一般式(8)【化8】で表される(4-ペルフルオロアルキルビフェニル)プロピルトリメトキシシランを合成する第3の工程からなることを特徴とする、ペルフルオロアルキル基及びビフェニルアルキル基を有する、耐熱性、耐久性、離型性、及び防汚性シランカップリング剤の製造方法。
