Title ELECTRODE MODULE
Abstract An electrode module used for an electrochemical measurement device is comprised of a work electrode, a counter electrode, a reference electrode and a well (a container) for holding an electrolyte. In the electrode module, at least one out of the work electrode, the counter electrode and the reference electrode is integrated with the well. The integrated electrode is comprised of a chip-like electrode in which a thin film of an electrode material is formed on a chip-like base metallic surface, wherein the chip-like electrode is arranged in a detachable condition on the bottom of the well to be a unified form of the electrode module. An electrode module is provided with maintenance free and easy handling, compactness, less expensive price, and high efficiency in repeatable use.
Scope of claims (In Japanese)
【請求項1】作用電極、対電極、参照電極及び電解溶液を保持するためのウェル(容器)から構成される電気化学的測定装置において用いられる電極モジュールであって、該電極モジュールは、前記作用電極、対電極及び参照電極の中の少なくとも一つが前記ウェルと一体化されたものであり、該一体化された電極は、チップ状のベース金属の表面に電極物質の薄膜が形成されたチップ状の電極からなり、該チップ状の電極が前記ウェルの底部に着脱自在な状態で配置されて一体化されるものであることを特徴とする電極モジュール。

【請求項2】チップ状の電極は、チップ状のベース金属の表面に電極物質を、蒸着又はスパッタリング又は印刷のいずれかの方法で薄膜状に形成したものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電極モジュール。

【請求項3】作用電極及び/又は対電極が、ウェルと一体化されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の電極モジュール。

【請求項4】作用電極、対電極及び参照電極が、共にウェルと一体化されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の電極モジュール。

【請求項5】請求項1記載の電極モジュール用の、チップ状のベース金属の表面に電極物質の薄膜が形成された電極チップ。

【請求項6】請求項1記載の電極モジュール用を用いた電気化学的測定装置。
