Title LUMINESCENT SUBSTRATE FOR LUCIFERASE meetings
Abstract Disclosed is a compound having a structure analogous to a firefly luciferin. More specifically disclosed is a heterocyclic compound which can emit light at a wavelength different from a wavelength at which natural firefly luciferin can emit light. The heterocyclic compound is represented by general formula (I). In the general formula, R1, R2 and R3 independently represent H or a C1-4 alkyl; X and Y independently represent C, N, S or O; and the length of the olefin chain moiety represented by "n" may be altered to a desired length.
Scope of claims (In Japanese)
【請求項1】 以下の一般式Iの複素環化合物またはその塩:
【化学式1】 式中、
 R1、R2およびR3は、それぞれ独立してHまたはC1-4アルキルであり、
 XおよびYは、それぞれ独立してC、N、SまたはOであり、
 nは、0、1、2または3である。

【請求項2】 R1、R2およびR3がそれぞれ独立してHまたはC1-4アルキルであり、
 XがNであり、
 YがSであり、並びに、
 nが0、1、2または3である、
請求項1に記載の複素環化合物またはその塩。

【請求項3】 R1およびR2がそれぞれメチルであり、
 R3がHであり、
 XがNであり、
 YがSであり、並びに、
 nが0、1、2または3である、
請求項1に記載の複素環化合物またはその塩。

【請求項4】 nが0、1または2である、
請求項1に記載の複素環化合物またはその塩。

【請求項5】 請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の化合物をATPおよびMg2+と共に含む、発光検出のためのキット。

【請求項6】 請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の化合物を発光甲虫ルシフェラーゼと反応させる工程と、該化合物からの発光を検出する工程とことを含む、発光検出方法。
