Title PROTEIN PRODUCTION METHOD, FUSION PROTEIN, AND ANTISERUM
Abstract Disclosed is a high-throughput production method for producing a heterogeneous protein by utilizing a microorganism. Also disclosed is a fusion protein. Further disclosed is an antiserum. The production method is a method for producing a protein (A) in the form of a fusion protein, and comprises the following steps (a) to (c): (a) producing DNA encoding a fusion protein which is composed of a peptide chain constituting the protein (A) and a C-terminal peptide chain of Cry protein produced by Bacillus thuringiensis or a fragment of the C-terminal peptide chain (B), wherein the peptide chain constituting the protein (A) is ligated to the N-terminal side or the C-terminal side of the peptide chain (B); (b) introducing the DNA into a host bacterium to transform the host bacterium; and (c) causing the expression of the fusion protein in the transformed host bacterium. The method may further comprise a step of removing the peptide chain (B) from the fusion protein.
