Title COGNITIVE DYSFUNCTION-DETERMINING EQUIPMENT, COGNITIVE DYSFUNCTION-DETERMINING SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM
Abstract

The invention measures cerebral blood flow data using functional near infrared spectroscopy while the subject performs a cognitive task, performs feature extraction after primitive analysis of the measured cerebral blood flow data, and using extracted feature values and previously constructed models for assessing cognitive dysfunction, automatically determines the clinical diagnostic group: normal cognition (NC), mild cognitive impairment (MCI), Alzheimer's dementia (AD). The invention is thereby able to perform cognitive dysfunction assessments that are suitable for early stage screening of large numbers of elderly people.
