The superconductive rotating electric machine drive control system and method relating to a form of the invention for performing control so that the field current If2 supplied to the superconductive field wiring meets the following equation (11) (11) depending on the variation of the electric power delivered between a synchronized rotating electric machine and an electric power machine where If2 is the field current supplied to superconductive field wiring of a synchronized rotating electric machine, I is the line current, E2 is the induced electromotive force of the synchronized rotating electric machine, Vt is the terminal voltage, k4 is a constant, n2 is the number of turns of the superconductive field wiring, ? is the rotational speed of the synchronized rotating electric machine, ? is the power factor angle, r2 is the resistance of the synchronized rotating electric machine, and ?2 is the reactance of the synchronized rotating electric machine.
