a discrimination step for discriminating between a subcutaneous fat layer, muscle layer, and visceral fat layer using CT values in the tomographic image
a distribution acquisition step for acquiring a correlation distribution of the CT values and the number of voxels in the subcutaneous fat layer and visceral fat layer thus discriminated between
and a determination step for making a determination with respect to a trend toward obesity, using the correlation distribution of the CT values. According to the present invention, in addition to the volume and proportion of the subcutaneous fat layer and visceral fat layer in the abdominal tissue, the quality of fat can be determined and liver fat can be determined.
